What Are the Donations Used for?

If you share our love for these icons of Pennsylvania's past or are excited about the idea of using to them to inspire educational programing and community development activities that celebrate what it means to be from Pennsylvania, please consider a donation to the Keystone Marker Trust.  All donations are tax deductible, as the Internal Revenue Service has determined the Keystone Marker Trust to be a 501(c)3 organization. The donations are used for the following:

  • Identifying and Restoring Existing Keystone Markers across the Commonwealth
  • Creating New Patterns to Replicate Missing Markers
  • Establishing an educational program around the Markers for schools and the public
  • Developing guidelines and professional specifications to allow the Markers to be included as mitigation for PennDOT projects affecting historic resources
